Dennis Peter Emberley

Emberley, Dennis P., age 72 of Brooklyn Park, passed peacefully at home due to complications from his long battle with cancer and will be missed by all. Survived by his loving wife, Clare of 51 years; four sons, Todd (Carol), David (Jane), Scott (Susan) and Kirk (Vickie); grandchildren, Laura, Brad, Anna, Shea, Jessie, Jamie, Rikk and Tony; brothers, Lynn (Eileen) and Lee (Mary); sisters, Kay Boyce, Rilla (Clayton) Freeburg and Margie Stone; Nieces & nephews. Dennis served in the Air Force reserves in the 50’s, had pilot’s license and loved to fly. He also enjoyed restoring classic cars. He will be missed by anyone who loved him or has had the pleasure to meet him. Dennis could make anyone laugh. His greatest pleasure was making others smile in any situation. The family wishes to thank Dr. Mann and the staff at the Hubert Humphrey Cancer Center for the care and concern during his illness. Memorial service Saturday, 12 noon, St. Pauls Lutheran Church, 28th St. & 15th Ave. S. Visitation one hour prior to service. Memorials to donors choice.
