Dennis Gwin

Dennis Wayne Gwin, age 57, of LeClaire, IA died September 26, 2009 from complications due to diabetes. Dennis was born January 10, 1952 in Burlington, IA to Lyle and Helen (Dearinger) Gwin. He was a 1970 graduate of Davenport Central High School and married Ragene Dalton on December 22, 1979 in LeClaire, IA. Dennis enjoyed over the road trucking and had transferred to Eagan for work 3 years ago with Roadway Trucking. Dennis was a lifelong Teamster. He enjoyed all sports and was especially a fan of the New York Yankees and Iowa Hawkeyes. He was an avid golfer, with a goal to golf in all lower 48 states.Dennis was preceded in death by his father Lyle Gwin and step-father Guy LeBeau. He is survived by his wife Ragene of LeClaire, IA; children Marie (Andrew) Hassel of Chicago Ridge, IL and David J. Gwin of LeClaire, IA; mother Helen Gwin LeBeau of Bettendorf, IA; brothers Chriss (Julie) Gwin of Davenport, IA, Mark (Lora) Gwin of Bettendorf, IA, and Scott Gwin of Davenport, IA; also many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service is pending.
