Delores A. Borst, age 80, of Hastings, passed away at United Hospital in St. Paul on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. She was born in Bridge Water Township, MN on May 30, 1940. She worked at District 1 Hospital in Faribault, Regina Hospital in Hastings, and CF Industries in Rosemount. She had a passion for flowers, nature and sewing doll clothes. She was preceded in death by her mother, Minnie; brothers, Earl and Danny. Delores is survived by her husband of 60 years, Richard Borst; children, Deb (Art) Pitt; Mary Wright; Donna (Jim) Dettwiler; Ron Borst (Charity Boucher); grandchildren, Jason and Jacob Moritz; David, Brian, Joseph, Caitlin and Elizabeth Wright; Jessica Brelje; Alexx and Tyler Borst; 18 great grandchildren; sister, Margaret Brockton; brothers, Gene, Kenneth and Karl Brockton; and many other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 11 at 10 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St. in Hastings. A Visitation will be held on Friday, July 10 from 4-7 PM at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion St., Hastings. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery in Hastings.
