Deloras V. Robinson

Deloras V. Robinson, age 87 of Hastings died November 28, 2013 at her home. Deloras was born August 28, 1926 in River Falls, WI to Etman and Vivian (Mapes) Meier. She married Clarence Robinson on June 20, 1946 at the Methodist Church in Prescott, WI. She was a former Smead Mfg. employee and later was the bookkeeper and co-owner of Robinson Transfer with her husband Clarence. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers DeForest, Dwayne and Darwin Meier. Deloras is survived by her loving husband and best friend Clarence �Robbie�; son Jeffrey (Beverly) Robinson of Newport and daughter Patrice (Steve) Roberts of Ogema, MN; grandchildren Dawn (Ryan) Lokken of Maplewood, Paul (Monica) Robinson of Woodbury, Tom, Sam and Jordan Roberts of Ogema; great grandchildren Elaina, Lauryn and Annalise Lokken, Elizabeth Boerger, Carter and Sydney Robinson and Vinson Roberts; half brother Dick (Judy) Meier, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Helen Meier, Shirley Meier, Irene Van Deusen, and Marg Robinson and Gus Heinold; also several nieces and nephews. The funeral Service, officiated by Gordon Gathright will be held 2 PM Tuesday, December 3 at the Hastings United Methodist Church, 615 West Fifteenth St, Hastings. The interment will follow in Lakeside Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM Monday at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 East Seventh St, Hastings and one hour prior to the service at church. Pallbearers are Dawn Lokken, Paul Robinson, Tom Roberts, Sam Roberts, Jordan Roberts and Charlie Meier.
