Deanna M. Serres

Deanna M. Serres, age 73, of Hastings died Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Angels Care Center in Cannon Falls. Deanna was born March 29, 1937 in Hastings to Leo and Esther (Heinz) Murray. She was a 1955 graduate of Hastings High School and married Richard Serres on August 9, 1958. Deanna was a former employee for Kimmes-Bartelma Construction, and later DLR Construction. She was an avid card player who also loved golf and bowling. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Sharon. Deanna is survived by her husband Richard; brothers John (Florine) Murray of Rochester, Warren (Sharon) Murray of Vermillion, Bob (Mary Jane) Murray of Minong, WI; sister Kathy (Bob) Armbruster of Hastings; also several nieces and nephews. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. Allen Paul Eilen will be held 11am Monday, October 18, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 West Fifteenth Street, Hastings, with visitation 2 hours prior to the service at church. Interment will follow at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
