Deanna L. Beissel, age 48 of Hastings, formerly of Farmington, died peacefully at her home in Hastings after a long battle with cancer surrounded by her family on November 8, 2007.She was born on may 9, 1959 to Roger Switzer and Billie Jean Wills in Soap Lake, WA.She owned the Action Driving School and previously drove bus for Marschall Line in Farmington for 14 years. She was married to Randy Beissel on April 9, 1994 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Vermillion She is survived by her husband, Randy of Hastings; daughter, Stacy (Kyle) Gogerty of Lonsdale; son, Curtis (Misti) Berry of Hibbing; daughter, Amy Berry (Nick Ahlgren) of Hastings; father, Roger (Helga) Switzer of Coeur D' Alene, ID; mother, Billie Jean Wills of Everett, WA; grandchildren, Shania Lyn and Tyler Justin; brother, Craig Switzer of WA; sisters, Elaine (Howard) Smith of Brier, WA, Fern Cox of Everett, WA, Sandy (Keith) Hoar of Yelm, WA, Doris (Michael) Dale of Monroe, WA, and Paula Wills of Tacoma, WA. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rogena Switzer; and aunt, Patty. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, November 14 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Vermillion with visitation one hour prior to service at church.
