De’Ali B. Delgado passed away unexpectedly and tragically on January 9, 2026. She was born on July 25, 2024, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the precious daughter of her loving father, Erick Delgado.
From the very beginning, De’Ali was deeply loved and fiercely protected. Her daddy fought with all his heart for her, and losing her so suddenly has left a space that words can never fully fill. To him, she was his little “Chunky Monkey” and his “Mamas.” Every time he held her, he would gently tell her, “You’re so beautiful,” and she truly was.
De’Ali had a joyful spirit that lit up every room. She loved to eat, especially mashed potatoes, and her favorite drink was horchata. If you tried to take it away, she would let you know how she felt. She adored books, musical instruments, and anything that made noise. She was always talking in her own sweet way, always dancing, bouncing up and down with delight. Bubbly, happy, and full of life, she was always smiling and loved being close to those she loved most.
She was a little girl who loved other children, but above all, she loved her daddy. The bond they shared was tender, strong, and filled with endless affection. Though her time here was far too short, De’Ali made a big and lasting impact on everyone who was blessed to know her.
She is survived by her loving father, Erick Delgado; her grandparents, Edgar and Dina Delgado; her uncles, Edgar Jr. and Giovanni Delgado; her cousins, Isabella and Mateo; her great-grandmother, Juanita Rueda; and her great-grandfather, Jesus Rueda, who has preceded her in death and now lovingly welcomes her home.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will take place at a later date.
De’Ali will forever be remembered for her bright smile, her gentle heart, and the deep love she gave and received. She will always be her daddy’s beautiful little girl.
