David R. Mueller

David R. Mueller, age 60, of Hastings died Saturday, June 23, 2012 at his home following a lengthy illness.David married Carol Sieben on May 10, 1980 at the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Hastings and was employed over 20 yearswith Hastings School District 200. He loved the outdoors, cars, skydiving, fishing, racing, camping, gardening, and especially his family.He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Margaret (Sherman) Mueller, and his nephew Jimmy Mueller.David is survived by his wife Carol; his children Desteny Rowan of Effie, MN, Tanya Mueller of Hatings, Jeremy (Nicole) Mueller of Farmingtonand Dustin Mueller of Hastings; grandchildren Katelyn, Alex and Aubrey; his siblings Karen (Mike) Brenteson of Brooklyn Park, MN, Jerry (Sachiko) Mueller of Vacaville, CAandWally (Gloria) Mueller of Audubon, MN.A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2012 from 4-8 PM at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 Seventh Street East, Hastings and also on Wednesday 1 hour prior to the funeral at the church. The pallbearers are Dave Cavalier, Mike Olson, Bob Blough, Steve Cysiewski, Danny Jensen. Ev White, Mark Loomis, Al Magee and honorary pallbearer Eric Olson.The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. Cole Kracke will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 Fifteenth Street West, Hastings on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 10:00 AM.
