David Joel Anderson

David J. Anderson, age 41 of Hastings died Monday, August 1, 2016 at United Hospital in St. Paul. David Joel was born December 27, 1974 in Hastings to Kenneth and Marilyn (Williams) Anderson. He was a 1993 graduate of Hastings High School. He was a die-hard Vikings fan, enjoyed playing video games and loved watching WWE Wrestling and Star Trek episodes. David had a quick wit with comebacks that always made people laugh. He was preceded in death by his mother in 2006. David is survived by his father, Kenneth of Hastings; sister, Wendy Anderson of Bellevue, WA and brother, Donald of Hastings; also many other relatives. The Funeral Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Our Saviours Ev. Lutheran Church, 400 West Ninth St., Hastings, with Rev. Lloyd Menke officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will follow in Lakeside Cemetery. Memorials are preferred.
