Age 67, of Apple Valley, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 29, 2013. He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria; a granddaughter, Alexandria; and his parents. David is survived by his children, Deborah (Ron) Kissel, Cooper Pierce, David, Carmen (Mason) Ondich and Brian; 8 grandchildren, Easton, Enya, Sam, Melina, Nathan, Anna, Calvin and Bauer; 2 brothers, Dale (Jill) and Mark (Sandy); a sister, Mary (Mike) Pierce; extended family; nieces, nephews and friends. David was a proud and loyal 28 year Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather who cherished and adored his grandchildren. David’s Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 6, at 11:30 a.m. at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 147th & Garrett Ave., Apple Valley with a gathering of family and friends, one hour prior to the service in the mortuary. Interment in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
