David Bowar

David Willliam Bowar, age 52, of Hastings, passed away at home on December 14, 2015, after an 18 month battle with brain cancer. David was born in St Paul, Minnesota on March 5, 1963. He attended schools in Rosemount and Farmington, Minnesota. He worked as a truck driver and in construction, and was most recently employed hauling cars. David loved riding his Harley, and made many motorcycle trips with friends and family. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, cooking, trips to the casino, and meat raffles at The Bar. He is survived by his daughter, Nicole, and his parents Ray and Donna Bowar of Hastings; siblings Tom (Marcia) Bowar, Mary (Charles) Bobertz, Marcia (Mike) Toombs, Janet (Ernie) Krubsack, Cindy (Jim) Mager, Jeff (Sherry) Bowar, Bernadette Bowar, and by many nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday (12/22) at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 15th St. W., Hastings.
