David A., age 69, of Burnsville, MN died peacefully at home on April 17, 2011 after a vigilant battle with cancer. David is preceded in death by his parents, John and Margot Skokan; his first wife, Sandra; brother, James Skokan; and brother-in-law, Jim Backman. He is survived by his wife Dianne; daughter Lisa (Valerie); brothers, Stephen (JoAnn) and John (Lance); three step-sons, John (Carri) Wallin, Jim (Vicki)Wallin and Jeremy (Lacy) Wallin; six grandchildren, Robert, Cecilia, Nikki, Kristin, Alex and Elliot; and other family members and friends. David loved his job working for 38 years in the pharmaceutical business working for Amerisource. He was a “Legal Drug Pusher” and he was a loving sarcastic brother. Memorial service 1 PM Thursday, April 21st, 2011 in Henry W Anderson Mortuary, 147th and Garrett Ave, Apple Valley, MN with a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service. Private family interment Hillside Cemetery.
