Dave Husting

Dave Husting, age 64, of Hastings, passed away at home on January 25, 2017. He was born in Hastings on August 18, 1952 to William and Lorraine Husting. He enjoyed wildlife, especially hunting and fishing. He loved to watch TV, but more than anything, he loved to spend time with his beautiful grandchildren. Dave is preceded in death by his father, William; and brother, Dick. He is survived by his children, Will (Jen) Husting and Brooke Husting; grandchildren, Georgia, Avery, Max, Vivian, Chloe, and Evan; mother, Lorraine Husting; sisters, Paula (Rory) Johnson, Wendy (Bob) Holzemer, Cheryl (Kirk) Johnson, and Vicki (Mike) Williams; many other relatives and friends. A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Steve Schoenwald, will be held on Wednesday (2/1) at 3:00 pm at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings. A gathering will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
