Nicholson, Darrel G.

Age 80 of Minneapolis, walked on on November 9, 2022. Preceded in death by his parents, Ed & Inez Nicholson; sister, Donna Gilbert; and brother, Dean Nicholson. Survived by his bride, Sandra Sevre; daughters, Hannele Buffy (Joe Eddy) Nicholson and Marija (Zack Ailabouni) Nicholson; grandsons, Torian and Felix Eddy; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Darrel was a man of many things – Finnish speaker, Spanish teacher, Navy sailor, author, open air museum curator, wild boar caretaker, musician, storyteller, and traveler. Graveside Service at 11:30am on Wed., November 16, 2022, Assembly Area #2, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held by his family at a later date.
