Daniel F. Peterson

Daniel F. Peterson, age 60 of Hastings, MN passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014. Daniel was born August 31, 1954 in Park Falls, WI to Ferdinand and Gloria (Holt) Peterson. He married Mary Van Danacker on February 6, 1976 at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Maplewood, MN. He worked as a corporate buyer with contractor sales in the construction industry. He enjoyed his family the most in life and loved getting up to the cabin in Siren, WI. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria.Daniel is survived by his wife Mary of 38 years; five children Jon, Tony, Nate, Chip and Leanna, their spouses; four grandchildren; his father "Ferd"; four siblings Randy, Mark, Scott and Linda; in-laws Charles and Kathleen Van Danacker; Mary's siblings Mike, Tony, John and David; and a large extended family. The Memorial Mass, officiated by Fr. David Hennen will be held 10:30 AM Friday, September 5 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. Fifteenth St, Hastings, with visitation one hour prior to service. A private interment will be held at St. Josephs Catholic Cemetery in Prescott, WI at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
