Bryan, Daniel F.
Age 74, of Apple Valley, MN. He was born in St. Paul, MN to James and Ruth Bryan, the youngest of four boys. Dan graduated from Sibley High (1955), served in the US Navy for 2 years, graduated from the UWRF in speech pathology, attended the U of MN and earned a Master’s in Education with a Specialist in Administration. Dan worked in St. Paul Public Schools as a Speech Pathologist for 4 years. He moved to Faribault, MN and worked in southern MN as a Special Education Consultant, concluding his career at the MN Dept of Education in 1999. Dan is survived by his dear wife of 52 years, Marilyn; daughters, Kristine Bryan Nielsen (Craig) and Jennifer Bryan Mattson (Josh); grandchildren, Noah, Madeleine, and Owen; brother, James Bryan; and many other loved ones. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Thomas and David. Dan’s memorial service is Friday, July 13, at 12 Noon in Prince of Peace Church, 13901 Fairview Drive, Burnsville MN, with a gathering of family and friends on Thursday, July 12, from 4 to 7 pm in the Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials preferred to Burroughs School Fund, Achieve!
