Daniel "Dan" Matheson

Matheson, Daniel “Dan” Age 60 of Apple Valley, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 15, 2017 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Preceded in death by parents, Roy & Arline Matheson. Survived by loving wife of 32 years, Brandesia “Brandy”; siblings, Bob (Nola), LuAnn (Phil) Aldrich and Randy (Katie); loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dan was a lover of many styles of rock and roll and blues music. He was a lifetime drummer and singer. Dan was a collector of historical objects, loved all animals and was an avid fisherman. He had a strong, solid Christian faith. Dan was known for being very easy-going with a quick wit and great sense of humor. Visitation from 4-7pm on Fri., Aug. 25, 2017 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley. Funeral at 11am on Sat., Aug. 26, 2017 at Berean Baptist Church, 309 Co. Rd. 42 E., Burnsville, with visitation one hour prior. Interment Lebanon Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the Humane Society or Disabled American Veterans.
