Danial Barclay Bowles, 65, passed away after his courageous fight against cancer in St. Paul, Minnesota last Tuesday, November 16th, 2010. Danial was born April 27th, 1945 in Norfolk, Virginia to Burl and Ola (Robertson) Bowles. Danial was a Vietnam veteran and after the war, he continued to live most of his life in Virginia until about 10 years ago where he moved to Minnesota to be closer to some of his family. He loved being a grandfather, fishing, and watching NASCAR and other sports.He is preceded in death by his parents: Burl and Ola Bowles.Danial will be sadly missed by his children: Danial 'Barry' (Lela) Scott, Mike (Dee) Bowles, Charles 'Nick' (Angela) Bowles, Tammie (James) Wyatt; grandchildren: Andrea, Amber, Sarah, Elena Grace, Emily, Mackenzie, Zoey, and Braden; siblings: Burl (Sonjie) Bowles, Clinton (Glenda) Bowles, Bennie Bowles, and Deloris (Buck) Walden.Funeral services for Danial will be Thursday, November 18th, 2010 at 6pm at the Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring Street, Hastings. Visitation will begin at 5pm. Burial will be at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery at 10:15am, Friday, November 19th, 2010.
