Dale M. Pronschinske

Dale Matthew Pronschinske, 81, of Hastings, Minnesota, died September 17, 2011, at home surrounded by family. He was born April 10, 1930, in Waumandee, Wisconsin, the son of the late Frank and Rosella Pronschinske. He has 6 siblings Clem, Virginia, Merlin (deceased), Frank, Delaine and Ivan. Dale grew up on the family farm in Arcadia Wisconsin. He graduated with an Associate's Degree in Accounting from the LaCrosse Technical College. Dale's career took him from Dubuque, Iowa; Milwaukee Wisconsin; Winona to Hastings Minnesota. Dale was employed by Hastings Local Oil as an Accountant for 25 years, retiring in 1995. On July 10 1953, he married Irene Dahlgren. Together they raised two children, Gary and Debora. Providing for and spending time with his family was most important to Dale. Summer time camping, fishing and travels provided many memorable times for all. Time with his Grandchildren and great grandchildren brought him much joy. In his spare time, Dale enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Local Oil Bowling team. He enjoyed working with his hands on projects including doll houses and various wood crafts, ballroom dancing and of course his beloved Minnesota Vikings.Survived by loving wife of 58 years, Irene; son, Gary (Patti); daughter, Debora (Bil) Brummund; grandchildren, Will; Kari; Jill; and Michael; great grandchildren, Hunter; Austin; and Parker; many other loving relatives and friends. A Memorial Gathering will be held Wed (9/21), from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings. The Wise Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
