Dale Richard Frisch

Dale Richard Frisch, age 66 of Apple Valley, unexpectedly passed away on May 14, 2025. Preceded in death by his parents, Leslie & Betty Frisch; and brother-in-law, Robert Aldrich. Survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Debbie; daughter, Summer (Nick) Margiotta; stepsons, Travis (Stephanie) Hutzell and Cory (Stephanie) Keller; grandsons, Timmy Keller and Zac Hutzell; siblings, Terry (Judy) Frisch and Peni Frisch Aldrich; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Dale will be remembered for the simple pleasures that brought him the most happiness – a good round of golf, a long ride on his motorcycle, the satisfaction of a freshly cut lawn, or an afternoon spent working on his 1967 Chevelle SS. He loved to tinker around in the garage and try his luck in scratch offs daily. He could strike up a conversation with just about anyone and was always ready to share a story.

In his early years, he also found enjoyment in pheasant hunting, downhill skiing and snowmobiling, especially during the colder months. He liked camping and days spent waterskiing on the lake that he called home in Michigan. The soundtrack to his life is made up of classic ’70s and ’80s rock. A true dessert lover, he never passed up a sweet treat, especially if it involved chocolate.

He took great pride in his 40-year career with General Motors. He was a devoted husband, a loving and supportive father and step-father, and the steady foundation of his home. For 31 incredible years, he loved and cared deeply for his wife, Debbie, always putting her first and showing his devotion in countless ways.

Dale will be deeply missed at every family gathering — for his quirks, his laughter, and his stories. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.

Memorial Service at 11:00am on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Starkson Family ~ Anderson Chapel, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley, with visitation one hour prior. The family of Dale Frisch will be hosting a celebration of life lunch from 12:30pm to 3:00pm at the Apple Valley Community Center, 14603 Hayes Rd., Apple Valley, MN 55124. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation in memory of Dale Frisch.
