Cynthia B. Balgaard Radel

Cynthia B. Balgaard (nee Radel)

Age 90 of Burnsville, born April 7, 1927 in Sanborn, Minnesota, the daughter of Paul and Elma (Neumann) Radel, passed away peacefully, February 24, 2018. She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church of Willow Lake Township near Sanborn. Cynthia was united in marriage to Luvern (Lou) Balgaard on June 28, 1975. She was employed by the United States Postal Service. Cynthia was very active and enjoyed skiing, hiking, running, traveling, gardening, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lou; brothers: Melvin, Raymond, Orville, Donald, and Vernon and sisters, Sylvia and Arlene. Cynthia will be dearly missed by several nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial service, 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 7, 2018 with visitation one hour before at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 13901 Fairview Dr., Burnsville. Cynthia will be laid to rest with her husband at Ft Snelling National Cemetery.
