Curtis Keith “Curt” Garrick, age 67, of Apple Valley, sadly lost his battle with cancer on August 6, 2015. Curt was born on April 16, 1948 in Plentywood, MT to Lyle & Anna Garrick. Curt was preceded in death by his brothers: Glenn, Dwaine, Owen, Dennis and Robert. He will be dearly missed by the love of his life, wife, Jean; two loving children, son, JR and daughter, Lyndsay (Roberto); grandson, Alex; granddaughter, Keira; brothers: Gordon (Frances), Ronald (Karen), Galen (Fengxia), Clair (Fern) and Clayton (Chris); sisters, Lorraine Hale and Carol (Don) Gallagher and many nieces, nephews family and friends. Visitation will be held 5-7PM, Monday, August 10th at Henry Anderson Mortuary, Apple Valley. A memorial service will be held at 11:00, Tuesday, August 11, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Burnsville, with visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM.
Curt was an avid sports fan and he especially loved golf. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to “The First Tee- Minneapolis”, 445 St Anthony Pkwy, Minneapolis, MN 55418, or email hinton@pga.com for more information.
