Craig Alan Carroll

Craig A. Carroll, age 59 of Hastings, Minn., died June 5, 2009 at the Augustana Health Care Center in Hastings.He was born Sept. 21, 1949 to Ted and Edna Carroll in Duluth, Minn. He received a B.A. Applied Science from the University of MN-Duluth. He was an aircraft mechanic, served the Marine Crops 1967-1971 and the Air Force 1971-1975, and was a frequent contributor to 'Letters to the Editor' in the St. Paul Pioneer Press. He married Victoria on Feb. 12, 1994 in Hastings, Minn.He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Victoria; children, MaryEllen (Eric) Christensen, Audra Jean McNutt, Catherine & Richard Gorham; grandchildren, Jenny, Christie, Michael, Milo; siblings, Darlin Jean (James) Krause of Greeley, Colo., Storm of Crandon, Wis., Axel (Barbara) of Kearneysville, W.V., Addison (Ginger) of Aurora, Colo.; numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Edna; brothers, Buckley and LeRoy; sisters, Shirlee and Dorothy.Memorial service Friday, June 19 from 10 a.m. to noon at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St. in Hastings.Memorials Preferred: Vietnam Veterans of America Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Ft.
