Corrine Lynch, age 85, of Hastings, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on December 9, 2021. Corrine was born on November 21, 1936 in Hastings to Nettie & Earl Bakken. Corrine graduated from Hastings High School in 1954. She was united in marriage to Don "Tim" Lynch on August 4, 1956 and celebrated 60 wonderful years of marriage. Corrine was blessed with five children. Corrine raised her children and then worked at Norwest Bank for many years. She always looked forward to her time with the family, especially her grandchildren visits. Corrine enjoyed crocheting and making blankets for her family and friends. She loved to sit in the living room and watch the birds and deer. On the weekends, she and Tim would go to the cabin, go on pontoon rides with their dog, Fluffy and take the family out for a ride around the lake. Corrine was a member of Regina Hospital Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, drill team, card club and a bowling team. She enjoyed her times with her coffee group and luncheons with her classmates and friends. Corrine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don "Tim" Lynch; brothers, Edward Weiland, Donald Weiland, William Weiland; and her grandson, Josh Miller. She is survived by her children, Chris (Brad) Haese, Mark (Gwen) Lynch, Donald Lynch, Cindy (Mark) Wolff and Randy (Becky) Lynch; many special, loved grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, James Weiland; and many other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion St. in Hastings. A Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM and 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery in Hastings.
