Consuelo "Connie" Riley

Consuelo M. �Connie� Riley, age 90, of Prescott, died Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the Regina Assisted Living in Hastings. She was born October 7, 1922 to Juan and Carmen (Jimenez) Romero in San Francisco, CA. She grew up there and graduated from St. Joan of Ark School. She married Neil J. Riley September 25, 1942 in San Francisco. They moved to Hastings, MN in 1955 and then to their farm near Prescott, WI in 1956. She was a 25 year employee of Smead Manufacturing in Hastings and was a homemaker. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Neil, and a grandson Tripp. She is survived by 12 children John (Anita) of White Bear Lake, Neil (Jan) of Prescott, Bill (Brenda) of Pittstown, NJ, Carm (Roger) Klegin of Prescott, Dennis of Prescott, Mary (Tim) Shafer of Hudson, WI, Mike (Jackie) of Prescott, Tim (Tina) of Muscatine, IA, Ginny (Greg) Anger of Prescott, Joe (Julie) of St. Paul Park, Juanita (Kevin) Erickson of Prescott and Tom (Bradi) of Prescott; 38 grandchildren and 57 great grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law Edna Kieffer and Sophie Riley both of Hastings. A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 281 South Dakota Street, Prescott and also 1 hour prior to the funeral Mass Thursday. The funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM Thursday, April 4, 2013 at St. Joseph Church. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
