Clinton P. "Clint" Sutton

Clinton Park Sutton, age 70 of Hastings, MN died Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury, MN, surrounded by his loving family. Clint was born in Mason City, Iowa on January 13, 1945, the son of Ervin and Alta (Molsberry) Sutton. He grew up on a farm north of Nora Springs, IA and graduated from Nora Springs High School in 1963. Clint married Karen Davis in Osage, IA on April 15, 1966 and has worked as a plumber in Hastings, MN for the past 30 years. After his love of his family and his faith in God, he loved nature, his cabins and dreaming up adventures. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter and infant son; his parents, two brothers, three sisters and two special nephews. Clint is survived by his wife Karen of Hastings; daughters Cassie (John) Jacobsen of Rockford, IA and their children Wyatt, Harlie Jo and Lukas; Kyra (Alan) Gaylor of Hastings and their children Logan, Grant, Zackary and Kennedy; Kelly (Christopher) Clemens of Newport, MN and their children Madalyn, Maria and Maverick; "his boys" Brian (Noella) Peterson of Lake Mills, IA and their children Nathan, Jared (Keri) Peterson, Cameron and Sarah; Burton (Marcie) Peterson of New Riegel, OH and their children Chandra and Colton; two sisters, Lora (Jerald) Tourtellott and Linda (Michael) Kohler; sister-in-law Ruth (Fred) Lehmann; brother-in-law Michael (Laura) Davis; also many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. The Funeral Service will be held 2 PM Monday, June 22, 2015 at Christs Family Church, 518 East Second Street in Hastings, officiated by Rev. Paris Pasch. Visitation will be held from 2-5 PM Sunday, June 21 at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home Cremation Services, 201 East Seventh Street in Hastings, and one hour prior to the service at church. Pallbearers are Wyatt Jacobsen, Logan Gaylor, Grant Gaylor, Zackary Gaylor, Nathan Peterson, Jared Peterson, Cameron Peterson and Colton Peterson. Interment will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Plymouth, Iowa at a later date.
