Clifford J. Buck Jr.

Clifford Joseph Buck Jr age 68, of Hastings died unexpectedly Saturday,October 5, 2013 at his home. Cliff was bornAugust 3, 1945in Baltimore, MD to Clifford J. and Bertha M. (White) Buck. He attended schools there and entered the U.S. Navy. He married Laurie Jean Dorer October 15, 1977 also in Baltimore. Cliff was groundskeeper for many years at the Eagles Nest Golf Course in Baltimore. He loved fishing, reading good books and refinishing furniture. He also was a former employee at the Hastings Walmart.Cliff is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Rob Culver and a sister Nancy Gist. He is survived by his wife Laurie Buck, a son Jonathan (Samantha) Buck of Hastings, precious grandson Wyatt Kemp Buck; and brother Charles (Marie) Jones of Baltimore, MD.Memorial Service officiated by Reverend Ed Frederick, will be 11 AM Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 7th Street East, Hastings, MN. There will be a memorial gathering 1 hour prior to the service. Interment with military honors will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis Thursday at 12:30 PM.
