Clarence Everett Robinson

Clarence "Rob" Robinson, 96, of Hastings, Minnesota passed away on November 13, 2023 with his family by his side.

Rob was born on February 14, 1927, in Hastings to Mina (Foster) and George Robinson. He was a lifelong resident and business owner of Robinson Transfer in Hastings, and a proud service member and supporter of the U.S. Army. He was married to the love of his life Deloras Meier on June 20, 1946, and they were blessed with 2 children Jeffrey and Patrice. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying many sports including hunting, fishing, golfing, snowmobiling, family time at the cabin, travel, and when he couldn't be outside he enjoyed bowling, cards and volleyball.

Rob was preceded in death by his wife Deloras; parents; siblings Harold, Russel (Jan), Helen (Gus) Heinold, Dayton (Marg), Irene (Randall) Van Deusen, George, Bill.

Rob is survived by son Jeffrey (Bev) Robinson and daughter Patrice (Steve) Roberts; grandchildren Dawn (Ryan) Lokken, Paul (Monica) Robinson, Tom (Anna) Roberts, Sam (Maddie) Roberts, Jordan (Melanie) Roberts; great-grandchildren Elizabeth Boerger, Carter Robinson, Elaina Lokken, Lauryn Lokken, Sydney Robinson, Annalise Lokken, Vin Roberts, Blakely Thornton, Layla Roberts; sister in law Helen Meier; special companion Shirley Schommer; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 20th at 11 a.m. at Resurrection United Methodist Church of Hastings with a visitation one hour prior. Burial will take place immediately following at Lakeside Cemetery in Hastings, Minnesota.
