Chrystal L. Nelson

Chrystal L. Nelson, age 87 of Minneapolis, born October 16, 1919 in Jamestown, New York, passed away May 18, 2007. Chrystal volunteered on the local, district and state levels of Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and also 57 years at Augustana Lutheran Church and Augustana Health Care Center. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alvar and son, Daniel. Chrystal is survived by daughter, Diane (Curtis) Bury; daughter-in-law, Judith Nelson; grandchildren: Pamela Nelson, Karna (Matt) Oosting, and Scott (Stefanie) Haglund; great-grandchildren: Anthony, Piper and Zoe; and countless friends and extended family. Visitation is 5-7 pm, Monday, May 21, at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S., Mpls. Memorial Service will be 1:30 pm, Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at Augustana Health Care Center, 1007 E 14th St., Mpls. Interment Sunset Cemetery prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Augustana Health Care Center of Minneapolis.
