Christopher T. Cozier

Christopher (Chris) Thomas Cozier, 47, of Clive, Iowa formerly of Hastings passed away on September 14, 2014, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. He tried to stay strong and although his fight against cancer didn’t last very long, we are all blessed that he is now at home in Heaven where he belongs! Chris is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Sophee Hamilton; brother, William (Billy) Cozier; father, Richard Cozier; in-laws, Greg and Diane Kusick. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Karyn Kusick Cozier; children, Jaclyn Cozier of Hastings; Christopher and Nicole Cozier of Iowa; grandchildren, Ty’Shawn and Tristan Latham, Karly Cozier; mother, Jean Cozier of Patchogue, NY; siblings, Richard (Linda) Cozier, Nancy LeLong, Kim Cozier, Linda (James) Hiatt, Joan Cozier (Brian); many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 12th at 4:00 P.M. at the Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring Street in Hastings. Visitation one hour prior at the funeral home.
