Christopher Dean Stankey

Christopher Dean Stankey, 52, of Lakeville, passed away February 7, 2015. He was born July 15, 1962 in Mankato, Minnesota to Dean and Georgia (nee Ostrander) Stankey, raised in Hoyt Lakes, and graduated from Aurora-Hoyt Lakes High School and Brainerd Area Vo-Tech Institute. He was also a long time employee of Arden Culinary in Lakeville. Survived by Lesa (nee Ethier) his wife of 30 years; sons Michael and Matthew; parents Dean and Georgia; sister Camelle Parker; and grandson Brian (mother Yelena Sobaskie). Preceded in death by brother-in-law Bradley Parker. He was an outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time at the family cabin. Chris loved his family with all his heart. His quiet strength and sense of humor will be forever loved and treasured. A Memorial Mass is scheduled for 11 AM Thursday, February 12 at All Saints Catholic Church, 19795 Holyoke Avenue, Lakeville, with a gathering of Family and Friends 1 hour prior.
