Born 1/27/1947, passed away 8/27/2012 from multiple illnesses. Chris was born in Green Bay, WI to Nordahl & Clara Thompson and spent the majority of her life in Bloomington, MN. She is survived by husband, Ron; children, Jeremy (Amber) and Betsey (Eric) Matas; brother, Roger (Donna) Thompson; sisters, Barbara Tingley, Judy Thompson and Karen (Peter) Carney; cousins and friends. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Brooklyn Matas, Katelynn Hildeen, Kyan Matas, Alexander “JoJo” Matas, Aiden “MoMo” Matas and Max Matas. Chris worked for the Mpls. public library, was a mom, daycare provider, Sunday school teacher, Girl Scout Leader and wonderful wife of 37 years. Her accomplishments in all those roles provides for her lasting legacy. Reviewal Friday, Aug. 31, 5-8 PM, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S., Mpls.
