Christine Ford, age 77, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, Minnesota. She was born on December 20, 1948, in Minneapolis to Marjorie and Richard Radsliff.
Christine grew up in Minneapolis and Burnsville and graduated from Burnsville High School, Class of 1966. After high school, she attended the University of Minnesota. She went on to dedicate 47½ years of her professional life as a process planner at General Dynamics, formerly Control Data, a career that reflected her loyalty, diligence, and strong work ethic.
In 1984, Christine married the love of her life, James “Jay” Ford. Together they built a life rooted in devotion, family, and shared experiences.
Christine had a deep love for creativity and the arts. She especially enjoyed visiting the zoo, sewing and needle crafts, playing the piano, singing, and music of all kinds. She cherished camping and found great joy in the performing arts, including orchestra and theatre. Above all, Christine was known for her kindness, warmth, and caring nature. She had a special way of bringing people together and was truly the glue that held everything close.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marjorie and Richard Radsliff.
Christine is lovingly remembered by her husband, Jay; her son, Scott (Christine); her grandchildren, Zachary and Benjamin; her siblings, Wendy Radsliff and Russell Radsliff; and many other relatives and dear friends who will miss her greatly.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 12th, 2026 at 11:00AM at The Well United Methodist Church in Rosemount with visitation starting at 10:00AM. A Reception will follow the service.
