Christina M. Cunningham

Christina M. Cunningham, age 96, of Hastings, passed away at Regina Nursing Home on Nov. 6, 2011. She was born in Birmingham, England to Lawrence and Kathleen Watkins on Nov. 6, 1915. She married Ian D. Cunningham on August 23, 1941 in England. Christina was a member of the Hastings Woman's Club. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ian D. Cunningham; sister, Audrey Fahey; daughter in law, Mieke Cunningham; brother in law, Brian Fahey. She is survived by her son, Christopher Cunningham; and daughter, Juliet (Dennis) Johnson; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister, Gloria Low; and sister in law, Marianne Cunningham. A funeral service, officiated by Rev. Frank Van De Steeg, will be held on Friday (11/11) at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 615 Vermillion St., Hastings. A Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service at church. Interment will be at St. Luke's Cemetery. The Wise Family Funeral Home is in charge of Arrangements.
