Charlotte A. Swanson

Swanson, Charlotte Ann Age 78 of Hastings, Homemaker Died March 21, 2021. She is survived by Cousins Michael (Mary Capozzi) and Steven (Sarah Arrington) Ekholm, Jack (Millie) and Jim (Judy) Ekholm, and other cousins. She was preceded in death by her Brother Wesley and Parents Lily (Peterson) and Carl Swanson. Charlotte had a terrific sense of humor and a passion for reading mysteries and history. She was a quiet, private person who was never heard to raise a word in anger or complain, even when she would be justified to do so. Char was always a joy to those who took the time to discovery her warmth and wit. She lived a life of simplicity and humility. She will be missed. From 2009 to 2019 Char lived in the Park Ridge Senior Assisted Living Apartments where she was cared for by the wonderful staff and healthcare providers there. She spent her last 2 years at Augustana Senior Care Center where again she had wonderful care during the exceedingly difficult period of Covid. A small graveside ceremony and internment with family was held on May 13th, 2021 10 AM at Lakeside Cemetery in Hastings MN.
