Of St. Paul, in his 90th year, born August 12, 1922 in Minneapolis to Ferdinand and Crescentia Kranz, passed away June 20, 2012. He was a graduate of the University of Minnesota and retired from United Rope Distributors of St. Louis Park. Preceded in death by wife, Delores and sister, Margaret. Charles will be dearly missed by son, Bill (Ellie) Sonday; daughter, Lori (Brett) Dick; grandchildren: David, Mark, Daniel, Joseph and Michael Sonday, Cynthia Holter, Sally Sonday-Gaines and Emily and Madelyn Dick; many great-grandchildren; sister, Sally Kranz and other family and friends. Visitation, 2-4 pm, Sunday, June 24 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So., Mpls. and also one hour before the mass Monday at church. Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 am, Monday, June 25, 2012 at the Church of St. Albert the Great, E. 29th St. & 32nd Ave. So., Mpls. Interment, Lakewood Cemetery. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Gillette Children’s Hospital.
