Charles "Chuck" Cragoe

Charles W. �Chuck� Cragoe, age 78, of Hastings, formerly of Bloomington died November 7, 2010 at his home. Chuck was born September 6, 1932 in Sioux Falls, SD to Charles and Garnet (Hetrick) Cragoe. He graduated from Magnolia, MN High School and served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He married Doris Forrester from Sterling, VAon October 22, 1955 in Luverne, MN. Chuck was employedby Durkee Atwood Co. in Minneapolis. The company moved to Red Wing and became Dayco, from where he retired after 45years of employment. After retirement, he and his wife, Doris volunteered as Computer Tutors at the Regina Assisted Living facility in Hastings. Chuck was a life member of the VFW. Preceded in death by his parents, Chuck is survived by his wife of 55 years, Doris; daughter Kim of St. Paul and son Brad of Farmington; sister Elaine, and brothers Gene (Colleen) and John (Patsy) all of Luverne; also many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The Funeral Service will be held 11am Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church, 602 Vermillion St., Hastings, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment with full military honors will follow in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Pallbearers are Randy Cragoe, Pam Miller, Peggy Adams, Wendy Klemme, Duane Mark, Dawn Mouw, Diane Cragoe, and Stacy Riggs. Memorials are preferred.
