Chad Michael Callahan

Chad M. Callahan, age 42 of West St. Paul, died Monday, October 10, 2016, at his residence. Chad, the son of Gary and Bonnie (Long) Callahan was born July 24, 1974 in St. Paul and was a 1992 graduate of Hastings High School. He worked as a crane operator in steel tubing production and loved motorcycles, cars and hanging out with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Callahan; grandparents, Vi and Tom Long and Pearl Callahan.Chad is survived by his mother, Bonnie (Tony Lundblad) Wilmar; four siblings, Shannon (Lonnie Nygren) Callahan of Hastings, Siobhan (Adrian) Martinez of Farmington, Sean (Erica Hennen) Callahan of New Prague and Kyle Wilmar of Northfield; nieces and nephews, Tyler, Josh, Connor, Haley and Blake Callahan and Christian and Diego Martinez; close friends, John Holien and Dawn Mensing. A Celebration of Chads Life will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday (10/23/16) at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home and Cremation Services 201 E. 7th St. with visitation one hour prior to service.
