Survived by wife Joan; children Bill (Mary), Stephen (Cindy), Mary Vogel, Michael (Karen), Jeanne (Lyle) Young, Kent (Christy) 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother Robert (Inez) & many other relatives and friends. Funeral service 11 AM Thursday at ST. JOHN�S EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 202 W. 8th St., Hastings. Interment Lakeside Cemetery. Visitation 4-8 PM Wednesday at CATURIA-SMIDT FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. 7th St., Hastings & 1 hr. prior to service at church Thursday.
