Carolyn “Sue” Haggerty

Age 84, of Burnsville, born March 20, 1935 in Loveland, CO to Dennis & Ruby Conroy, passed away May 4, 2019 in Shakopee, MN.

Sue graduated from Boulder High School.  Sue married Robert L. Haggerty on July11,1956 in Boulder, CO.  She passed on her love of photography and travel to her son, Joel; her daughter, Portia inherited her love of gardening, and her daughter, Kathleen keeps the tradition of turning a home into the holiday it is.

Sue’s greatest joy in life was family and will be dearly missed by her children: Joel (Lori) Haggerty, Portia (Michael) Vogt, Kathleen Kelly-Sanders (Karl Sanders); grandchildren: Mariya (Jacob) Laxen, Tess Bunker, Rachael Kelly, Tara Haggerty, Dana Bunker, Melissa Sanders, Gavin Bunker, and Molly Sanders and many other family and friends.

Service, 2 pm, Thurs., May 9, 2019 with a visitation one hour before at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley.  Sue will be laid to rest near her parents in Loveland, CO later this summer.

Memorials may be given to Audubon Society Minnesota.  Sue loved birds and passed that joy to her family.  The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the staff at Friendship Manor in Shakopee, MN for the genuine care.
