Carolyn Sue Gunderson, age 68, of Hastings died December 16, 2010 at United Hospital in St. Paul. Carolyn was born August 20, 1942 in Portland, Ore. to Eldon and Ruth (Lore) Evans. She married Jack Gunderson on August 22, 1959. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Jack; children Candy (Rick) Hanken of Prescott, Jackie Olson of Eagan, Dwayne of Hastings, and Joy (Bryon) Suski of Hastings; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. The Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Lloyd Menke, will be held at 2PM Saturday, December 18, 2010 at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home,201 East SeventhStreet, Hastings, with a gathering one hour prior to the service.The pallbearersare Gary Hanken, Rick Hanken, Bryon Suski, Dwayne Gunderson, DJ Gunderson, and Jason Olsen.Interment willfollow inLakeside Cemetery, Hastings.
