Carolyn J. Hynnek,

Age 80 of Minneapolis, born December 17, 1940 in Minneapolis to Herald & Dorothy Cameron, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on January 12, 2021.

Carolyn cherished being a wife, mother and grandmother. She was the life of the party with her laughter and smiles. She was deeply loved by so many.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joanne; brothers, Bruce & Greg and niece, Angee. She will be dearly missed by Julian, her loving husband of 55 years and children: Jonathan (Laurie), Jason, Juli (Jim) Dupont and Joel (Jeannette); 10 grandchildren; sister, Deb Petersen and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 5426 12^th Ave. S., Minneapolis.  Friends may gather one half hour before.  Carolyn will be laid to rest at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice Care or Our Lady of Peace Catholic School.
