Carol L. Meinhart

Carol L. Meinhart, age 70, of Monticello, passed away January 30, 2011. Carol was born January 21, 1941 in Chicago, IL to Michael and Mary (Howard) Pontello. She married Wayne A. Meinhart June 6, 1959 in Duluth. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings Michaeline Lind and Samuel Pontello. Carol leaves behind her children, April (Patrick) Cowan of Cincinnati, OH, Cory Meinhart of Hastings, Scott Meinhart (Valerie Nelson) of Lake Elmo, and Wendy (Jeremy) Johnson of Elk River; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sister JoAnn Jones of McKinney, TX. The Funeral Service will be held 2PM Friday, February 4 at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E. Seventh St., Hastings with visitationone hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Newport Cemetery. The family asks for your prayers and support during this time. Memorials are preferred.
