Carol A. Freiermuth

Carol A. Freiermuth, age 59 of Coates, died suddenly but peacefully at home on Friday morning, November 2, 2018. Carol Ann, the daughter of Arthur and Eileen (Rother) Beissel, was born on April 28, 1959, in Cannon Falls. Following her education at Hastings High School, Carol was blessed with two children, April and Edward. She loved being a stay at home parent while they were young, and also enjoyed working at various restaurants. Most recently, Carol worked at the State of Minnesota. She enjoyed attending her three grandsons activities, cheering on the Minnesota Vikings, watching movies, coffee dates with friends, and most importantly, spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Art. Carol is survived by her children, April (Steven) Sickler, and Edward Freiermuth; three grandsons, Brayden, Burke, and Nolan Sickler; mother, Eileen Beissel; siblings, Jim (Pat) Beissel, Kathleen (Gary) Hovel, and Tom Beissel; and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at Caturia, Smidt Starkson Funeral Home Crematory of Hastings, with Gordon Gathright officiating. Private family interment will be held at St. Marys Cemetery in New Trier. Family and friends are cordially invited to a visitation for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday morning. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donors choice in memory of Carol. Arrangements are being completed by Caturia, Smidt Starkson Funeral Home Crematory of Hastings.
