Carol A. Carr

Carol A. Carr, age 79, of Hastings, passed away at home July 17, 2021. She was born in Winona, MN on October 10, 1941 to Walter and Edith Phillips. Carol was a long time employee of Randall's Foods in Winona and later retired from Dakota County Technical College. She loved flower gardening and watching the birds she enjoyed feeding. Carol was an avid Minnesota Twins fan and enjoyed dining out with family and friends. On October 17, 1959 Carol married Richard Neitzke. Richard passed away January 1, 1988. Carol then married Douglas Carr on November 10, 1999. Douglas passed away June 16, 2000. Carol is also preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Robert and John Phillips. Carol is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Lori) Neitzke, Kimberly Cunov and Kent (Lynn) Neitzke; grandchildren, Jonathan (Lauren) Neitzke, Elizabeth (Anthony) Crossnoe, Zachary Neitzke, Nicholas (McKinzie) Neitzke and Savannah Neitzke; great grandchildren, Sylvia and Nolan Neitzke and Millie Crossnoe; sister, Elaine (James) Bambenek; many other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday July 30 at 10:30 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St. in Hastings. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. Private Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery in Winona.
