Candice Lee Levy

Candice Lee Levy aka "Sparkles", age 42, passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2025.

Candice was born on August 26, 1983, in Menomonie, Wisconsin, to Jeffrey and Kristina (Burns) Steves. From the very beginning, Candice had a kind heart and a gentle spirit that drew people to her. She carried that warmth throughout her life, sharing it freely with her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Candice and Shaun were united in marriage on December 14th in 2009. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and deep devotion. Their greatest joy came with the birth of their son, Devin, in 2009. Candice treasured being a mother. Devin was the center of her world, and she poured her heart into raising him with love, patience, and endless encouragement.

She cherished time spent with Shaun and Devin, whether traveling, spending weekends at their camper, or simply enjoying everyday moments together. Candice also loved everything sparkly (especially diamonds), shopping and spending time with her friends, always bringing fun and light into every gathering. Her laugh, her caring nature, and her loyal friendship will be deeply missed.

Candice was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ray & Marlene Steves.

She is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Shaun Levy; her beloved son, Devin Levy; Grandmother, Ruth Larson; her parents, Jeffrey and Kristina Steves; her siblings, Cassie Burns, Mike Steves, and Katie (Austin) Vaught; her mother-in-law, Lisa Levy; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Steve and Deb Levy; her sister-in-law, Danielle Levy; and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

Candice will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to her family, and the gentle kindness she shared with everyone she met. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2026 at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion Street, Hastings, MN.
