Caleb J. Willenbring

Caleb J Willenbring, age 26 of Hastings and formerly of Cannon Falls, died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 19, 2019, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. Caleb John, the son of Gerald and Kay (Cheetham) Willenbring, was born on October 9, 1992, in Farmington. Caleb attended Cannon Falls High School where he loved playing football and basketball. Throughout all of his life, Caleb loved the Lord and was proud to be a Christ follower. He was a very loyal friend, and always will forever be remembered as a gentle, kind, and intelligent giant. Caleb enjoyed playing his guitar, especially the song "Simple Man", and was a very creative man through drawings and the ability to fix just about anything that was put in front of him. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lawrence Cheetham, and Frank and Mary Jane Willenbring. Caleb is survived by his parents, Jerry and Kay; siblings, Joel and Jenna; sister in law, Kirsten, niece, Hazel, grandmother, Janice Cheetham and by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members and friends. Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2019, at The Harbor Church in Hastings, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Immediately following the service, a reception will also be held at church. Private family interment will take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred in memory of Caleb. With the help of Lifesource and Caleb's legacy of always caring and giving to others, his final wish of organ donation helped countless others in their time of need. Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
