OLSON, C. ROGERAge 62Of HastingsA member of Local 455 Pipefitters Union in St. Paul passed away in the arms of his wife Barbara on Nov. 14, 2008. He served in Vietnam with the Construction Battalion (CB's) where he earned his Silver Star. He is preceded in death by father, Tiny; and good friend, Frances Syverson. Survived by wife, Barbara; mother, Jennie Mae; brother, David (Connie) Olson; sister, Joan (Tom) Graham; step-children, Michael; Daniel; and Dana Syverson; niece, Heidi; nephew, David; and his cats, Fatty and Peeky. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday Nov. 19, 11:00 A.M. at WISE FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 400 Spring St., Hastings. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Pallbearers are: John Olson; Michael Gilde; Robert Cory; Dennis Einberger; David Olson and Daniel Syverson. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
