Age 78 of Minneapolis, born Jan. 5, 1932 in Duluth, MN to Earl and Mabel Ives, passed away August 6, 2010. Bruce served in the US Army during the Korean War and is a longtime member of the VFW, Am Legion and the Eagles. He is preceded in death by wife, Barbara; son, Richard “Animal”; mom and step-father, Mable & Raymond; sisters, Lois Rae & Barb and brother-in-law, Bill. Bruce will be missed by daughter, Kathie Ives; grandchildren, Michelle and Bobby; great-granddaughter, Asharra; daughter-in-law, Millie and special friends, Mini & Richard; and many nieces, nephews family and friends. Special thanks to the Allina Hospice staff for their wonderful care. Visitation will be 11am-1pm, Saturday, Aug. 14, at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So., Mpls. with luncheon to follow. Private interment, Monday, Aug. 16, Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
