Brigadier General Paul O. Forsberg,
age 79 of Mpls., born Nov. 14, 1928 in Minneapolis to Oscar and Mildred Forsberg, passed away May 8, 2008. Chaplain Brigadier General Forsberg served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army as a chaplain for over 27 years. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; children: Debby (Bob) Bettinger, Diane (Rev. Gary) Andersen, Rev. Dan (Debbie) Forsberg, Katherine Forsberg, Tina Anderson, Tom (Melanie) Forsberg, and Jon Forsberg; 16 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dave (Claire) and Bill (Pinza); sister, Doris; and many other family and friends. Memorial service will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 13, 2008 with visitation one hour before the service at Community of the Cross Lutheran Church, 10701 Bloomington Ferry Rd. Interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Union Gospel Mission.
